Autism Awareness 2025 at PPIA Batu Pahat – Learning, Growing, Blooming Together
In conjunction with Autism Awareness 2025, PPIA BATU PAHAT – Pertubuhan Perkhidmatan Intervensi Awal Batu Pahat organized a vibrant series of activities highlighting the talents and capabilities of our EIP students, JTP trainees, and PW trainees.
At PPIA, we believe in inclusive education and promoting meaningful participation for children and youths with autism. Our Autism Awareness 2025 campaign focused on the theme:
“Learning, Growing, Blooming – Together!”
💙 EIP – Early Intervention Programme Activities
Our EIP students (EIP 学生) engaged in sensory play, creative painting, cooking pretend-play, and interactive group exercises under colourful parachutes. These playful activities are designed to support early childhood development and encourage social communication skills in a fun, inclusive setting.
💼 JTP – Job Training Programme Highlights
JTP trainees (JTP 培训生) actively participated in vocational tasks such as:
- Assembling equipment
- Weaving and craft production
- Group ukulele performances
These hands-on experiences help build job readiness, independence, and teamwork among trainees with autism, preparing them for future employment and life skills.
🧡 PW – Production Workshop Participation
Our PW trainees (PW 培训生) showed dedication in:
- Cleaning duties
- Furniture arranging
- Music performances
These tasks promote a sense of responsibility, discipline, and collaboration. Each trainee plays a valuable role in contributing to the PPIA community.
