PPIA Mini Carnival 2025 – A Celebration of Love, Food, and Community Spirit
On 19 October 2025 (Sunday), the Pertubuhan Perkhidmatan Intervensi Awal Batu Pahat (PPIA Batu Pahat) successfully hosted its annual Mini Carnival at the PPIA Hall, Taman Bukit Perdana. From 8 AM to 3 PM, the hall was bustling with laughter, delicious aromas, and cheerful interactions as families, volunteers, and friends gathered in support of early intervention services for children with special needs.

The PPIA Mini Carnival featured an exciting variety of food stalls offering both local and international delights. Visitors were treated to a diverse menu of Rice, Noodles, Kuih and Desserts, as well as fresh vegetables, fruits, cookies, handmade crafts, and PPIA products. Popular items such as Nasi Lemak, Ginger Wine Chicken Rice, Korean Spicy Chicken Rice, Fried Kway Tiao, Popiah, and Yam Cake were sold out quickly. The colorful setup and lively crowd added to the festive atmosphere.

One of the highlights of the carnival was the fresh produce corner, featuring farm-fresh vegetables and fruits like pineapples, mangoes, bananas, lettuce, and cherry tomatoes. It was a great way to promote healthy living while supporting local growers and the fundraising initiative for PPIA’s Early Intervention Programme.

The event would not have been possible without the dedication of PPIA’s volunteers, staff, and parents, who worked tirelessly from the early hours to prepare food, organize the stalls, and ensure a smooth flow throughout the day. Smiling faces could be seen everywhere—from volunteers in aprons serving meals, to children helping with sales and crafts, to visitors enjoying a hearty breakfast together.

The PPIA Mini Carnival 2025 not only raised funds for the center’s programmes but also strengthened the bond between the PPIA community and the people of Batu Pahat. The event was a beautiful reminder that kindness, unity, and care can make a real difference in nurturing a more inclusive society for children with special needs.

PPIA Batu Pahat extends heartfelt thanks to everyone who came, contributed, and supported the event — especially all volunteers, sponsors, and the public whose generosity and compassion made the day a great success.

Together, we continue to build hope, celebrate inclusion, and make every child’s journey brighter.
